Permanent Weight-Loss and Weight-Maintenance

  • Dieting is never easy, and that's made difficult by the phenomenal choice of diets that available.
  • It canbe hard enough staying on a particular diet  Keeping that weight off is almost harder than getting it off in the first place.
  • And dieting can get so complicated and fiddly, cant it?

No!     Dieting  doesn't have to be like that, at all.

If you feel that way about your diet, there's a real scientific reason for that.  It has to do with having to reach a certain energy  threshold leading to a step-change in the way the diet you've chosen impacts on the way your body deals with energy from food.  The two reasons most diets fail is firstly, that that threshold leading to step-change is never reached . (The ideas that explain it ,and how  it works are found  in both Chaos- an Information Theory and are related to dissipative structures.   How it works in practice, with dieting, however, is very easy.)  Basically, there can be no "right" diets and no "wrong" diets.

It's all relative.

The second reason that most diets fail is that they seldom, if ever, look at the role of the mind in maintaining progress as work towards your goal.

And as there are two completely different methods of losing weight, determined by how you go about doing that, it's even more crucial that you make the right decision about which method you use, because that will tell you whether you'll succeed or not.

Of course, you want to succeed!

The key to success, however is in your mind. Let me unlock it for you by showing you how to use your mind's extraordinary powers to overcome the more tedious parts of dieting, achieving that step change that you need to kick start and sustain your diet  (any diet, anywhere).

Permanent Weight-Loss has been written as a guide to dieting for immedate weight-loss and long-term maintenance of that weight.  It isn't a diet, in itself, as it's assumed that you have found a diet you're comfortable with.

Permanent weight-loss and maintaining your ideal weight can best be done by using your mind's extraordinary power to do the difficult bits.  can be most easily  be achieved by training the mind as you follow your  diet of choice

The keys to success are - as ever - motivation and will-power.  How motivation arises, and how it can be focused is discussed in terms of psychic energy related to the four components of the psyche (in Jungian terms), and to growth of the ego and transcendence in terms drawn from psychosythesis.

The vast majority of diets fall into one of only two categories: ketogenic diets (like the Atkins diet), or calorie controlled diets (like many variations on and of  the F-plan diet).  The problem many dieters encounter - and my client, Tilly, was no exception - is that they can' t seem to stick with a chosen regime for an appropriate length of time (results are always too slow to achieve) or are too painful - realtively speaking, of course!   Motivation, both short- and long-term is the problem and the key when approached in the right direction.
The psyche, as a dynamic structure, is in a constant state of flux, naturally moving towards individuation or a transpersonal state.
Both the separate processes of weight-loss and maintenance of ideal weight are actually almost wholly dependent on the mind or mental input.  In terms of weight, dietary regimes, broadly speaking, have only two puropses: weight-reduction and weight-maintenance.  These sound the same, but they aren't.  Problems invariably arise with efforts to reconcile the different purposes.

So, it always comes down to a question of motivation and will-power.

Your secret weapon in dieting, however, is the energy that flows from and through different parts of the mind.  Mental energy can fairly easily be identified and directed so that dieting - and sticking to your diet - becomes easy!  Find out how, here!
